Dancing Outside of Shadow and Light

When there is conflict, internally or externally, it can be inferred that a form of struggle is taking place.  Struggle implies a lack of flow; restlessness or inhibition to change.  The usual source of this issue is a block.  Internally speaking, the source is usually an emotional wound brewing to heal.  Externally speaking, the origin is power over another, which is a source of internal wounds that are manifesting in personal actions that are reflecting in grand scale. George Carlin so wisely stated, “Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.” As humanity, a unity of individuals, how do we find peace in all realms?

In this “Great Shift”, I feel the movement is not towards a delineation of morals or ethics, black and white or better yet shadow and light.  I feel that the shift moves beyond dualist behavior or thought process but rather moving closer to Oneness.  There is no “us” against “them”.  There is no great battle or struggle but instead the movement is healing that needs to take place to remove blocks that we have created individually and collectively that is inhibiting our oneness with Divine LOVE.

The situation in Gaza is our most recent example.  While the governments are actively promoting hate and countries are choosing sides, the true movement in the streets and reflected in social media is to stop the violence and live in harmony; Muslim and Jew living side by side.  We also saw this in Cairo during the Egyptian Revolution.  Christians would encircle the Muslims, hand in hand, to protect them while they were praying.  By seeing the world as an “us” against “them” is the mentality of competition; winners and losers.  If LOVE is the law then everything will come back to LOVE.  Our purest part of ourselves is drawn to LOVE and desires to unit in LOVE, with LOVE.

How can I as a spiritualist, healer, and witch, make a difference in all of this chaos while I live in a small community in Central California?

I see with my owl eyes beyond the illusion.  Though there is conflict half way across the world I see screaming and anger at the market and on the streets. I see the Earth suffering from us draining Her Rivers during this severe drought.  I see hunger and homelessness everyday. I see intimate partner conflict. I see aggression against women, children, and anyone seen as different or weak.  Then I look even deeper….I see LOVE between many families; I see children joyfully playing and the ability to freely express themselves. I see new growth and fresh ideas. I see people speaking up and coming together for a common cause.

I believe in the power of prayer backed by action. I believe in healing and holistic living.  I believe in consensus and conflict resolution.  I believe we are all teachers, leaders, healers, midwives, and shamans.  I believe in the power of the people and our interconnectedness that goes beyond this space and time to the original source of Oneness in LOVE.

I interweave all my beliefs by living my life with the merits of strength through beauty, which is truth and love.  I do this in my everyday actions the moment I wake up, throughout the day, till I rest my head to sleep.  I live my life in gratitude as I go to my humble massage studio to have the sacred charge of aiding others in pain through their healing process; mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually.  I am no great oracle speaking out about the end of days.  I am just a witch who has been gifted with eyes of Owl to see beyond and though while my heart feels the great collectiveness of humanity.

Life is messy, this is true, but struggle and conflict are a result of our inability to let go; micro and macro.  We should not have to fight for peace.  We should not have to armor ourselves, which implies the need to protect from struggle or conflict. Rather, let us breathe together into the flow of Divine energy.  When we do this with our hearts there will be no need for guns.

With Divine beauty and peace, I dance and move in the spirit of transformation.  This is our alchemical ability to embrace the duality, forgive, and unite in LOVE.  I believe that is the genuine process of birthing change into Grace.

Throughout these blogs over the next year, I will outline this process of change through Grace as I work with my small community in our everyday lives to heal and bring peace within us and through us.
